LEATHERFACE - THE STORMY PETREL
We're extremely proud to announce the forthcoming release of LEATHERFACE's new album
'The Stormy Petrel' - their first release since the brilliant 'Dog Disco' album back in 2004.
Forming in Sunderland, UK almost 2 decades ago, LEATHERFACE's legacy has spanned
across 7 studio albums, countless 7"s and vinyl releases, 2 discographies and of course their
much loved 1999 split with Hot Water Music. With original guitarist Dickie Hammond re-joining
the band in 2006 LEATHERFACE have continued to tour parts of the UK/ Europe, finally returning
to the US in 2008 to headline Florida's THE FEST.Recorded by Fred Purser @ Trinity Heights
Studio, 'The Stormy Petrel' is 12 new tracks of classic LEATHERFACE - intensely melodic,
beautifully melancholic and truly punk-rock. Due out Feb 25th in Australia/ NZ.
